Lunar Eclipse

Last night

I watched a lunar eclipse

and thought of you!

The sun and moon stood apart

just like you & I

The moon, full of desire, turned red

but the sun became shy

Thus, for sometime, life turned dark

For now blue remains the sky

Oh, but I can honestly say

I saw my first shooting star

as I was holding on to you!
