As I look back to my life

especially the past three years

I kept telling myself

it was never meant to be…

  

When we first met

I promised you and myself

a life full of happiness & love

But it was never meant to be…

  

As the days went along

so many things went wrong

and I am to blame

You were there all the time

loving, caring and by my side

Didn’t care if I was wrong

But it was never meant to be…

  

So many days & nights

no matter how hard I try

things never go right

But it was never meant to be…

  

You brought Sayf into our lives

He is the fruit of our love

Still things don’t change

But it was never meant to be…

  

I promise you now

A heart full of life

A life full of love

A love full of joy

And it has got to be…
